Good Beer Guide 2008!

Good Beer Guide cover 2008The original GBG was published by CAMRA in 1974 (priced 75p) and it featured all the breweries that existed at the time - a mere 104. Good Beer Guide 2008 - released in September - will set you back a bit more, but features more than 600 breweries and over 4,500 pubs serving good quality real ale.

An indispensable travelling companion, the guide features comprehensive descriptions of real ale breweries and their beers. The selected pubs come complete with details of the beers available, opening hours, pub food information and facilities, as well as snippets of historical and/or local interest.

The cover price is normally £14.99 - but CAMRA members can purchase a copy through the Branch at a generous discount by contacting any committee member.

Alternatively, visit www.camra.org.uk or call 01727 867201 to place an order (allow £1.50 extra for p&p). Or why not join the Good Beer Guide Privilege Club and have the guide delivered direct to your door for only £9.50 (p&p included)?
