SHEFFIELD & NORTH DERBYSHIRE MICROS SCOOP FESTIVAL AWARDS!
From: InnSpire - Issue 54 – April 2005

Following another sell-out beer festival which nonetheless offered a choice of beers right up to last orders on the Saturday night, the eager punters voted Abbeydale’s “Stormbringer” as overall Beer of the Festival.

Port Mahon’s “Moorgate Mild+” won the best mild category, whilst Woodthorpe Hall’s “Owd Barker” was the favourite cider.

Festival-goers also helped to raise £300 for the Mayor’s charity, Ashgate Hospice which was presented to him at The Peacock, Brampton on Tuesday 5th April.

Thanks for your support - see you next year!
